Living in Awareness is about being conscious of our internal process. It is the path of self-discovery. By paying close attention to arising thoughts, emotions and behaviours we get a glimpse of our underlying belief systems which in turn allows us to truly understand the level at which we are creating our lives. Having greater awareness allows us the opportunity to heal the imbalance and disharmony that we feel in our lives and return to our birthright, a place of peace and wisdom.
As awareness grows, so does our freedom to decide on how to react in each moment, allowing us the opportunity to take back control of our lives. However, and very importantly, as awareness grows we also begin to tap into our deeper pains which we have tried to unconsciously bury most of our lives. In a way, and without knowing it, our minds and bodies have become addicted to a pain-cover-up cycle. Being willing to openly look at why we do what we do, and why we think what we think, takes great courage and is the beginning of our healing.
Our true nature is peace, and any thought or emotional upheaval within us is where we will find the answers to our freedom and well-being. This is the process of growing personal awareness.
